Stomach is still killing me. Went home sick and took some more pepto.

Just went to walgreens and there was a guy there dressed like dracula just sitting at the front. He had a cheap black wig, a black vest and pants, off white dress shirt, black umbrella, and weird al glasses. Oh and he was wearing an elaborate gold iron cross around his neck. Wish i could have snapped a pic.

Slept in, went on a short run, helped an old lady find her nursing home.

Great run today. Trying to stick with 7 miles a day for at least 2 weeks until I can get back up to 10 mile days with 20 mile long runs. My new shoes and running socks are just buttery smooth and comfortable. Glad I finally went to a running store to get fitted.

My coworker is so annoying. He talks for hours and hours on end. He tells stupid jokes that aren't funny. He hijacks other peoples' stories. I wish I could shut him the F up.

Just got my quick release kit for my Garmin Forerunner 305. Excited! Hoping this will keep the speaker dry and loud.

I'm back! The keys were great, and we got to celebrate my mom's 50th in such a cool place. Snorkeling, kayaking, exploring, and drinking key west sunset ale. What a blast! Here's my flickr album.

Into the eye of the storm

I will be out all week on vacation in the lovely Florida Keys. So all you people reading this will have to wait in agony another week for my third post to a generic blogger blog lost in a sea of anonymity.

Adobe Gamma Sucks!

Don’t you hate Adobe Gamma? I have never been able to figure out the instructions on the page where you “set the contrast to it’s highest setting then “adjust the brightness control to make the center box as dark as possible (but not black) while keeping the frame a bright white.”

What the hell does that mean???!!! The middle box is black by my definition. So the center box should just barely contrast with the middle box? And the frame should be a bright white? What if I get the contrast just so it’s almost disappeared, but the outer box is now not as bright? where exactly is the line between white and bright white? What if I turn the brightness all the way down and there’s still visible contrast between the black boxes?

Am I the only one that thinks these directions totally suck? This has never been clear to me, but I don’t want to buy a freaking spyder just to calibrate my screen. Lame!
